Adult Social Care Training and Development Fund

Calling all learning and development professionals and finance administrators in the Adult Social Care sector!

Would you like to test a new service that will make it easier for you to access funding and pay for training for your employees?

The NHS Business Services Authority is testing a brand-new service designed to streamline training reimbursement for care professionals. We want to make claiming money for training simpler and more efficient, so that training becomes more accessible for those on the frontline of care provision.

But we can't do it alone – we need your help to make this vision a reality. We’d like to talk to anyone with experience of managing training and claiming reimbursement. We're particularly interested in hearing from employers with nurses and allied health professionals registered with the NMC or HCPC - such as nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists. We’re looking for up to an hour of your time to test an early version of the service and give us your feedback. You don’t need to have any expertise in tech or digital to take part - the study is open to everyone. As a token of our appreciation, participants will receive a £20 gift voucher for their time.

To register your interest and find out more, please contact Amelia Benson at hi.amelia.benson@nhsbsa.nhs.uk. Our sessions will take place over a few months from March to June 2024, so there’s plenty of time to be involved. We look forward to hearing from you.
