Background Checks (DBS)
DBS checks are a mandatory requirement for those working in care, but many employers don't understand the different levels of checks and who should have them, along with your legal obligations when you request a search

Fair Pay Agreement
The Adult Social Care Fair Pay Agreement (FPA) is an initiative aimed at standardising and improving wages across the adult social care sector in the UK. Recognising the vital role played by social care workers, the FPA seeks to ensure fair pay, better working conditions, and recognition for those dedicated to supporting vulnerable adults.
Learning and Development
We run regular training sessions throughout the year. Upcoming training sessions are published on our training page and in our event listiings.
Funding is available from central government to go towards training and development through the Learning and Development Support Service (LDSS). Details of which can be found by clicking the funding button below.
Proud to Care
Proud to Care is our recruitment umbrella brand. Primarily aimed at those seeking a career in care.
Throughout the year we organise Proud to Care Roadshows. These events are aimed at bringing together our members who are recuiting and those looking for employment.
