Pimp My Zimmer

We are pleased to bring back our popular competition to help your residents with dementia.

Why?

Zimmer Frames are a part of life for many older people but sometimes - particularly if they have dementia - they don't like using them as they cannot associate with them.

Research has shown that you can encourage your residents and service users to use their Zimmer Frame by decorating them with items or a theme that means something to them.

Who can enter?

This competition is open to all WMCA members, including Residential, Domicilliary, Learning Disability and Nursing providers.

The entry can be through the organisation or a family member of the service user.

2025 Pimp My Zimmer competition will run from

Monday 12th May-Monday 16th June 2025

The winner will be announced at our Registered Managers, Deputies & Seniors CPD Conference on Thursday 19th June 2025
