Fast, efficient and cost effective online DBS checks for Care Providers



The WMCA DBS System allows employers to submit applications online and receive the results quickly electronically.

WMCA offers Care Providers, a self administered system which can be accessed 24 hours a day. Users have their own secure control panel from where they can add new candidates, monitor the progress of their applications and more importantly see the results as they come in.

Members have been using our system for years and once they have done the first one can’t believe how easy it is! We are confident that this system offers employer’s one of the fastest and simplest Criminal Record checking services available.

Once you press ‘Approve’ your application is checked and if you are on direct debit sent straight away  to the DBS for processing.

Enhanced DBS checks are usually completed within 7 days but many come back in 24 hours. The exception is where the Police need to do additional checks on the applicant. There are no maximum or minimum number of checks required,  no registration fees or annual fees

Set up

If you would like to be setup to use the system, you need to complete the online form and you will be set up within 24 hours. (please note we only accept applications from care providers registered with CQC)

How to pay

Payment for the DBS is by Direct Debit only. If you are not set up for Direct Debit with the Association a Direct Debit mandate is included on your application confirmation.
