FREE Support is available to help ALL CQC registered care providers complete the Data Security Protection Toolkit through the national Better Security Better Care program of which WMCA is the Local Support Organisation for the West Midlands

Managing Digital Risk:

How to use and share information appropriately



As part of the national Better Security Better Care programme, we are offering a FREE series of webinars on Managing Digital Risk in Adult Social Care


Our new series of four workshops together address all of the policies, processes and procedures that you need to have in place to adequately secure your data protecting the individuals you support and your staff. They are closely mapped to the Data Security Protection Toolkit (DSPT). Attending these workshops will give you the necessary knowledge to complete the toolkit


These workshops will run every Wednesday morning at 10.00am and will be repeated every 4 weeks

Week 4 IT Systems and Devices


They are designed for those completely new to data security management in Adult Social Care or those looking for a knowledge refresher

One to One Sessions



We have a limited number of one-to-one support sessions available each week.


Each session can last up to 2 hours and is specifically aimed at Care Providers who feel they need more preparation or advice before completing the DSPT


These sessions will normally be conducted virtually over Teams/Zoom.


They are available Monday - Friday between 10.00am and 4.00pm (last appointment 2.00pm)

Digital Health Checks



As part of the national Better Security Better Care programme, we are offering FREE in-person Digital Health Check visits to review your data protection and cyber security policies.


We believe that having a Digital Health Check could provide several important benefits for care providers.
