With increasing scrutiny of pay practices in adult social care, this webinar will explore what providers need to know about pay compliance, particularly when employing international care workers.
Our legal experts will look at how UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) monitors compliance and the different ways concerns or non-compliance can be reported. They will also cover common National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage pitfalls, including unpaid training, travel and waiting time, and deductions for uniforms or equipment.
The session will highlight the additional considerations for sponsored international care workers and provide a practical refresher on what counts as paid working time, helping providers identify and address potential compliance risks.
