Junior Doctors to Strike and Further Strike Dates for Nurses
On 20th February, the British Medical Association (BMA) announced that junior doctors had overwhelmingly voted in favour (98% of 77.49% responding) to strike. The BMA is expected to announced a 72-hour walkout at some point in March, and we will circulate details when we have them. There doesn’t appear to be a response from DHSC at the time of writing.
The Royal College of Nursing has also announced further strike action between 1-3 March 2023, but this time there will be no wide-ranging derogations in place – all NHS services will be impacted.
