Pimp my Zimmer Competition 2025

Our ever popular Pimp my Zimmer Competition is back!

Zimmer Frames are a part of life for many older people but sometimes - particularly if they have dementia - they don't like using them as they cannot associate with them.

Research has shown that you can encourage your residents and service users to use their Zimmer Frame by decorating them with items or a theme that means something to them.

We are always amazed at the imagination and creativity that goes into some of the entries and you can see many of them on our website.

You have until 16th June to submit your entry and the winner will be announced at our Summer Conference on 19th June (details below) and will receive a luxury hamper.

Our popular series of Registered Managers Conferences conclude in June.

Following on from the previous themes of are you Well Led, Safe, Caring , and Effective , we visit the final CQC theme of Responsive.

These meetings are an opportunity for leadership teams to learn from other colleagues and to share good practice They are open to all Registered Managers, Deputy Managers and Senior Carers across the Midlands.

Spring Seasonal Decorations Competition Winner 2025

Huge congratulations to Butts Croft House in Coventry as the winner of this year's Spring Seasonal Decorations Competition.

Bhavani Muppavarapu, Registered Manager said, " On behalf of all the staff, our residents, and myself, I wanted to reiterate how delighted we are to have been chosen by the WMCA as the winner of the spring seasonal decorations competition. We were all so excited to receive the wonderful news and have truly enjoyed the process of decorating and sharing our efforts.
