Our much‑loved Pimp My Zimmer competition has been inspiring brilliant creativity over the past few weeks, and we’ve already received some truly amazing entries. We’ve been so impressed by the imagination, colour and personal stories coming through — and there’s still plenty of time for you to get involved before entries close.

Personalising a zimmer frame isn’t just a fun craft project — it can make a meaningful difference. When residents decorate their frames with colours, themes or objects that matter to them, they often feel more confident using them. For people living with dementia, familiar cues can spark comfort, recognition and connection.

From gardening and football to music, animals or favourite decades, the possibilities are endless. It’s a wonderful opportunity to help residents transform a practical aid into something joyful, personal and proudly theirs.
