WMCA Training Booking Acknowledgement

Thank you for registering, acknowledgment of your booking has been emailed to the email address you used to book (check your spam folder if it hasn't arrived). Your booking is not confirmed until we have received payment

Payment


Your Booking is not confirmed until we receive payment


Card payments:

Confirmation dispatched on receipt of card transaction from our payment service (normally within 24-48 hours)


Invoices:

Confirmation dispatched on receipt of payment of invoice (normally within 24-48 hours)


Direct Debit:

If you are an existing user of our DBS service and are set up for Direct Debit payments then confirmation dispatched once this has been confirmed (normally within 24-48 hours).  Direct Debit payment will be taken on the next month payment run (usually around the 24th of the month


If we have not received payment by 30 days before the course then your booking will be cancelled

Cancellation


If you should need to cancel your booking, please let the association know as soon as possible by emailing training@wmca.care


1. Cancellation by the Client

  • More than 14 days’ notice: No cancellation fee. Full refund or rescheduling permitted.
  • 7–14 days’ notice: 50% of the training fee will be charged.
  • Less than 7 days’ notice: 100% of the training fee will be charged.
  • No-show: Full fee applies. No refund or rescheduling.

2. Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling is allowed once at no cost if requested at least 7 days in advance.
  • Further rescheduling or late requests may incur a fee of 25% of the training cost.

3. Cancellation by the Provider

  • If the training provider must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered:
  • A full refund, or
  • Priority rescheduling at no additional cost.

4. Force Majeure

  • Neither party shall be liable for cancellations due to events beyond their control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, illness). In such cases, rescheduling will be offered without penalty.

On the day


We will be in touch before the date of the event with further details and the final agenda.


Registration at the event normally starts 30 minutes before the advertised start time



Data Protection


Data collected during the booking process is only used by WMCA for event organisation purposes.  We do not share this data with third parties or store it beyond a reasonable time.
