Citation: Worker Protection Act Guide

With International Women’s Day behind us, the focus on gender equality and workplace safety continues. Since 26 October 2024, the Worker Protection Act placed a new legal duty on employers to take proactive steps to prevent sexual harassment—shifting the responsibility from reacting to incidents to actively preventing them.

This means businesses must:

  • Review policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments
  • Ensure clear reporting and preventative measures

To help you prepare, our Partner Citation have created a free ‘Worker Protection Act’ guide explaining what’s changing, how third-party harassment is covered, and the steps employers must take before the deadline. Download here: https://tinyurl.com/4ka7j2p7

If you’d like to chat about how Citation can help with the HR and Health & Safety side of your business, just give them a call on 0345 844 1111, or fill in their call-back form, and they'll get right back to you. Remember to quote ‘West Midlands Care Association’ when enquiring to access preferential rates.
