We had a fantastic response to our annual Pimp My Zimmer competition with some amazing entries and we thank all those who took the time to enter.

We are pleased to announce that this year we have joint winners from Andrew Cohen House (BJCC) and Lavender Court. The runner up was the Court House (Superior Care).

National Express has kindly provided 500 28 day bus passes for the West Midlands region, FREE to new members of staff joining the adult social care sector within the Black Country after 1 April 2023

Government Updates

Petition to align care and support worker pay to NHS Pay Bands

Dimensions is currently running a petition calling for the government to link care and support worker pay to NHS Agenda for Change pay bandings.

Shape CQC's approach to assessing environmental sustainability

CQC's new single assessment framework includes an environmental sustainability quality statement. This quality statement, under "well-led" , will look at how providers are considering their overall carbon footprint and how they are acting to reduce it.
