Following the strike action last week, there are further strike days planned. From Thursday, August 24th (7:00AM), until Saturday, August 26th (7:00AM), certain NHS services might be affected due to ongoing industrial action.


In response to this, the DHSC have compiled an updated stakeholder pack (see attached) to provide you with essential information to navigate through these potential challenges. The pack includes:-


  • Essential messages from NHS England, directed at the general public, outlining the measures in place to ensure uninterrupted care during the strike days.
  • Detailed guidance for the public on how to access necessary healthcare services during the strike days, along with practical advice from NHS England.
  • Comprehensive information on the government's official stance and the most recent statements concerning the ongoing strikes by NHS workers.
