"Our free one-day, face to face workshop will help you understand market trends in your area and how commissioners are shaping the local market. It will help you assess where you are now with workforce planning and give you the tools you need to develop an effective staff plan for your service.

The workshop is facilitated by experts with real-life experience of workforce planning in your area. They will guide you in how to anticipate and respond to the changing needs of the local market and identify what staff you need to future-proof your business.

Health Education England have invested in a series of workshops to enable adult social care employers in the Midlands to access them free of charge. Places are limited, so make sure you don’t miss out.

You will learn:

  • the principles of workforce planning
  • the latest plans for your local care market – provided by the commissioners leading these plans
  • how your Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set can help
  • how to use Skills for Care’s practical workforce planning tools and resources to help you write a detailed action plan for what you need to do next.

Who’s it for?

CEOs, Directors, Nominated Individuals, Registered Managers, HR Specialists - or anyone working in the adult social care sector who has a responsibility for ensuring that the right services are being delivered with the right number of staff.

Workshops are being offered in each of the 11 Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) established in the Midlands. You will need to register for the workshop that is based in the area where you are operating your service (if you cover multiple areas, we recommend you attend the workshop in the area where you deliver the most services)."
