Wolverhampton Providers  Meeting Relaunch

Following feedback and requests from our members (particularly those in the Wolverhampton area), we are delighted to announce the relaunch of our Care Provider Meetings. Initially we are rolling this out in Wolverhampton, with a view to running these events in other regions in the future.

All care providers in Wolverhampton are invited to meet to discuss ongoing issues in the area and to share positive stories with colleagues, while accessing fantastic networking opportunities.

City of Wolverhampton Council commissioners will be present to discuss the new Care Home Specification with providers.

There will also be time for providers to suggest ideas for future meetings.

Herefordshire Registered Managers Event

Tuesday 18th June

This event is an opportunity for leadership teams to learn from other colleagues and to share good practice.

It is open to all Registered Managers and Deputy Managers across Herefordshire.

Have you thought about a Nurse Associate in your service?

A Nursing Associate is a member of the care workforce who  provides enhanced care for people in health and social care settings. The role has been created to bridge the skills gap between care assistants and registered nurses. This role is only being used and regulated in England.

The WMCA is currently exploring whether this is something that would be of interest to our members, with the view of securing funding to support this .  In order to help us with this decision, we would be grateful if you would read more about this potential role and then complete the  short expression of interest form .

When you bake and brew for Dementia UK, you’ll be helping more families access the life-changing support given by their specialist dementia nurses.
