Earlier this week the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, Angela Rayner, gave a speech to the Trade Unions Congress. She announced that within the first 100 days of a Labour Government, Labour would introduce an Employment Rights Bill. This would include collective bargaining, starting with a fair pay agreement in adult social care. Zero Hours contracts would be banned, anti-strike legislation reversed, the gender pay gap tackled and a real living wage introduced.
