Course Description:


A practical session focused on applying the Mental Capacity Act in real-world situations, with clear guidance on assessing capacity confidently and lawfully.


Learning Outcomes:


  • Understand the principles of the Mental Capacity Act (2005)
  • Apply the 2-stage capacity test
  • Record assessments clearly and defensibly
  • Avoid common pitfalls in practice
