Did you know that by being a member of WMCA you are part of a network of over 9000 care providers?


Your membership of WMCA brings numerous benefits, but you may not be aware that you are part of the largest network of care providers in England.


The Care Association Alliance is a network of over 50 local care associations of which WMCA was one of the founding members. Originally set up as a platform for local care associations to network and share good practice, it has grown over the last few years into the most representative network of care providers in England.


The Care Association Alliance (CAA) effectively operates as the national lobbying arm of the local care associations, giving us a voice at Westminster which is listened to by national government. It also ensures that we get to hear about government announcements and policies as they happen, and very often to influence them before they do. The two co-chairs along with support from officers from across the local care association networks work tirelessly representing the sector with the DHSC, CQC, and ADASS.
